Worcester Christmas Tree Festival
Supporting Daisychain Benevolent Fund Trust and Worcester Cathedral
On Friday 2nd December we unveiled our Christmas tree at the Worcester Christmas Tree Festival in Worcester Cathedral. The festival was attended by the Mayor of Worcester who declared the festival open at a ceremony, with the festival opening it’s doors to the public the following day. The Christmas Tree Festival runs throughout December, everyday 9am – 5pm, until January 4th 2017. For many people in the city and beyond, the festival has become part of their Christmas tradition and all were amazed at the avenue of trees. Entry will be free, but it is hoped everyone will make a donation to support the nominated causes. All the money raised will go to support the Riverside Children’s Ward at Worcester Royal Hospital, Teenage Cancer Trust and Worcester Cathedral.
Below is the video of the big switch on at the opening ceremony, showing our tree in all its glory!
