We are delighted to celebrate today, 21 April 2016, being one of the select businesses recognised as winners of the 2016 Queen’s Award for Enterprise – the UK’s highest accolade for business success.

Green Lighting Ltd received an Innovation Award for the development of a new customer service charter to support its LED lighting products. When a product is specified to be used within a newly built home, the house builder will warrant all componentry for a minimum of two years.
When the new home owner moves in, there are usually a few teething problems and they appear on a “snag list” which requires the sub-contractor to attend and rectify the issue.

To assist the customer, contractor and house builder, Green Lighting Ltd created the ‘’Green Lighting Deal’’. The deal takes responsibility for all of its products, pre and post installation. In busy times, resolving customer care issues can sometimes take longer than expected, thus resulting in frustration for the customer.

Green Lighting’s innovatively designed products with screw less fast fix connections, allow contractors to fit with ease and offer minimal disruption when remedial work is required and undertaken by ourselves.

With unachievable house building targets being set for the last three decades, the Green Lighting Deal plays its part in allowing the British house-builders and contractors to continue building homes and their reputations.

As a lighting designer and manufacturer Green Lighting has worked with the house builder for well over a decade. Within our own designs, we exceed the requirements of building regulations for performance and longevity of product life.

The Green Lighting Deal shows the level of confidence in our products and the commitment of the company to the house builder market. This responsibility to the industry has been reflected in its reputation and its growth within the industry.

Green Lighting has also been acknowledged for their efforts to support apprenticeships. Our employees have won prestigious apprenticeship awards both nationally and regionally and are now apprentice ambassadors.
